Dry Skin (xerosis) affects up to 75% of older people.¹ Skin integrity is compromised making it more vulnerable to damage. This often has a negative impact on a patient's self esteem and quality of life, leading to self deprivation, discomfort and itching.
The learning objectives for this webinar are to:

Understand more about the changes to ageing skin including the impact on skin health and common dry skin conditions in older people.
Gain practical knowledge on complete emollients therapy (CET) including application tips for older people.
Increase confidence in advising patients on emollient choice.
Understand when to refer a patient with a dry skin condition.
