Bringing over 5 years of strategic leadership within an acute trust, I currently serve as the Dermatology Lead Nurse and Head of Department at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals since 2019. My visionary and innovative approach has led to the development of pioneering initiatives such as the Fast Track Teledermatology service and Nurse Led Dermatology Services, with a particular focus on managing inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

Took the helm in implementing the first-of-its-kind Skin Cancer Fast Track Teledermatology Service at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals, covering the Lancashire & South Cumbria region.
Acknowledged as the recipient of the Clinical Team of the Year 2023 award at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Celebrating Success Awards.
Pioneered the establishment of the nurse-led services for eczema and psoriasis, contributing significantly to the advancement of dermatological care.
Engaged in thought leadership by presenting at noteworthy events including the NHS England Faster Diagnosis Collaboration Event and the NHSE Teledermatology event, and featuring in a BBC News interview to showcase the impactful Teledermatology Service.
